Another heroic rock pose from our Russian shows!! This time captured by Anton Dvorovkin for Rocktimes.ru!!! http://rocktimes.ru/reviews/stiven-uilson-v-peterburge-koncert-kotorogo-moglo-i-ne-byt
Apparently these recent live photographs from Russia were particularly 'heroic', as I found out last night that I have two cracked ribs from a pre show accident in St. Petersburg!! ?? But, as Freddie sang so wonderfully, The Show Must Go On!!! Here's another great shot from our show in Stockholm, Sweden taken by my beautiful friend Isabell Etz...

Really excited to be playing Massey Hall, Toronto this evening... it's a very historic venue, and a ridiculous list of artists have performed here in the past... everyone from Joni Mitchell to Yehudi Menuhin, Bob Marley to Vladimir Horowitz, Ravi Shankar to Stevie Wonder... The venue has also seen a list of legendary recordings from people such as Charlie Parker & Dizzy Gillespie, Neil Young, and one that's umm... 'closer to the heart'... All the World's a Stage by Rush!!!
OMFG!!! Hanging out backstage at Massey Hall, Toronto with Alex Lifeson!!!! What a Rush!!!! XX
It's beginning to look a lot like...

So good to play 'The Egg' in Albany again... and what a wonderful evening!!!
Thank you to everyone that's been asking about my ribs recently... they're still very painful as it's only been three weeks since the accident, but I'm managing to play ok... and I'm still smiling!
Gearing up for the Australian leg?!!
So yesterday afternoon at soundcheck we discover that Steven is still dying of the flu and, worst still, literally has no voice... also Craig has come down with the same bug, whilst Adam is still recovering from a cold... Nick and I are fine (well, apart from my two fractured ribs!! Hahaha...) and we're wondering what the hell to do for our big sold out New York show!! Fortunately Ninet to the rescue... she sung a whole bunch of stuff she's never sang before (ever!!), and I tried to fill in with some vocals where I could... I also sang lead on two tracks as well, although that proved pretty awkward totally unrehearsed whilst reading the lyrics and still trying to play the guitar parts...

Maybe we should have cancelled? But the audience at the Beacon were absolutely incredible... there was just so much love & support in the room.... and they definitely got to see a totally unique show...

By the end of the night I felt very emotional... and there were definitely some moments on stage last night (like Ninet tearing the f%€#ing roof off during 'Sleep Together'!!) that I'll NEVER forget!!!
I've just realised I didn't post a picture from Boston... which, despite Steven's ailing voice was actually one of my favourite shows!!! Such a wonderful energy on stage, and a truly amazing audience....
Thank you Chicago, for being such a wonderful audience!!! ? You made it a very special evening...
 Keith Emerson
It was very difficult to go on stage last night, after yesterday's tragic news... but thank you Mexico, for being such an incredible audience. Your boundless energy & passion for music reminds me of why I do this... Viva México!!
To the people of Mexico - you have been totally and utterly AMAZING these last too shows!!! It really is a joy to play in your beautiful country... Viva México!!
I was handed this lovely note as I left the stage on Sunday... Felt a little sad to leave Mexico City last night, but we're now in Santiago, Chile... the city where Craig & I played our first ever gig with Steven Wilson, back in May last year... I think anyone that saw us back then will notice a HUGE difference of Friday!!!
So tonight we returned to the city where it all started for Craig and I, back in May of last year... thank you so much Santiago, for a truly incredible evening..
this shot, taken by my wonderful photographer friend Camila Jurado... ?????? Camila Jurado Photography https://www.facebook.com/camilajuradophotography/

It was a warm, sunny afternoon when we said our final goodbyes to Keith Emerson, at a private church gathering for family & friends... I was asked to sing a song during the service... I don't think I've ever felt so nervous... but it was such a beautiful ceremony, with so much love... I don't think the day could have gone any better...

Rest in peace, my friend...
We've lost so many beautiful souls recently... artists, musicians, actors, comedians... parts of my childhood, gone forever... But I do feel so very fortunate to have grown up during such an incredible age, especially for music...
Adam Holzman sent me some great pictures the other day, taken by Martín DarkSoul fotografias... this is one of my favourites... https://www.facebook.com/Martin.DarkSoul.fotografias/
I was sent this picture this morning, taken at our second show in Mexico City last month... Bit of a Floydian vibe I guess... ? Picture by Richard Ruls

Tech genius (& incredible human being!!) Daniel Steinhardt is currently putting it all together, along with the latest incarnation of the G2 TheGigRig... really can't wait to hear it!!!

Last night I finally finished transcribing all the tunes for the Roger Waters shows (unless the set changes again!!)... just 73 pages of music charts & notes!!!
Hmmm.... I seem to have quite a collection of Tour Laminates!!
Was there a better guitar sound in the cosmos yesterday afternoon? I don't think so!!! My amazing friend Daniel Steinhardt has done an INCREDIBLE job on this rig!!!
Daniel Steinhardt has the horn after playing with my equipment all afternoon!! We tested it all through the new Brunetti Tube Amplification Pleximan, too... OMG!!!!! What a totally incredible sounding amp!!!
